Satori:Moments of Enlightenment

WHEN ARE THOSE TIMES THAT YOU FEEL "SATORI"--MOMENTS WHEN YOU FEEL ENLIGHTENED DESPITE OUR EVERYDAY STRUGGLES AND SUFFERINGS?

Personally, I feel "satori" whenever I get to share my talents and skills with others, most especially to the youth. Like last year, when we had our Grade 7 legacy, I must admit I was really dead-tired with teaching them how to sing, act and dance. But after seeing them perform in the concert, I felt so fulfilled about my life, not only as a teacher but also as an individual. Knowing that I was able to give these girls the chance to be themselves (in a productive way) and enjoy their God-given talents made me feel that I'm already done with the 1st step of the ladder of my mission which God has entrusted to me.

How about you?

Well I feel "Satori" when...I see that I made someone happy each day or even more. I also feel enlightened when I did something which I was afraid to do and actually liked it!!!!

I feel "satori" whenever I face and overcome challenges and make someone smile. I also feel enlightened when something out of the blue inspires me.

I feel "satori" everytime im with the people i love and care about. When im with them, i never think of my everyday struggles because they always make me laugh and they also always make me feel loved.

I feel "satori" or enlightened whenever I get to make someone laugh, and whenever I get to hang out with friends I rarely see. :)

I feel "satori" whenever I am able to help others in anyway possible. Helping others really make me feel happy most especially if I have made their problems lighter. It is with helping that we learn to be united, that we learn to admit that we can't do things on our own all the time, and we do need help from others. We should be thankful enough that there are kind people to lend a helping hand to others. :)

I feel "satori" when I realize that God gave me a talent that I never really knew I had. And when I realize that I can do something when I work hard for it. Another is, doing something I don't usually do or afraid to do (like auditioning for Komu :O) but when I do it, it gives me a feeling of accomplishment and atleast-i-tried feeling.

I feel "satori" when I rise above the negative things in my life. I feel deeply enlightened when I am able to see the good in the people around me, when I am able to see the fun in all my responsibilities and when I am able to overcome my anger so that I can do what is right.

I feel "satori" whenever I reach the house and see the family eat dinner together. :) I don't know why, but whenever I see our family eating dinner at the same time and exchanging stories after dinner, I just feel this certain happiness that you can only have when you know your family is really there for you. That certain feeling gives me a positive energy to always look up and smile even though there would be tons and tons and tons of HW's or Projects or even problemms. :D :)) YAY!

I feel "Satori" when I am able to cope with all my problems. I also feel it when I am able to make my loved ones happy and the isolated people feel special and with that, I also experience God.
